FIIs may sell again | Sell on rise | Banks be careful
Saturn and Venus are leading the day, well supported by Sun, Moon, Mars (Neech & Retrograde), Jupiter (Retrograde) with Venus.
No support from foreign markets. Impact of New years celebrations may have impact on the volumes of the trade.
Normal traditions for January were not good. At least in 2024 January, on 24 of Jan. 2024 Nifty was at 52 week low, and was around 21600 or so. But it had touched above 26600 in June 2024. So, Nifty rose around 20% and now on last day of 2024 Nifty is trading around 8% of its peak value.
Difference is – on January 1st, 2024 despite of weakness in the market, hope of economy and check on inflation was expected. I can not say that in 2025 we can not ignore improvements in inflation, but because of planetary changes in 2025, globe is in the suspense of US President will sworn in on 20-01-2025, so FIIs are withdrawing their funds from our market and moving in the areas where countries have announced stimulus or moving back in US.
Our markets may show pull backs, but the point is – WILL THIS PULL BACK BE ABLE TO GIVE DIRECTION FOR UPSIDE? I am doubtful. Especially because of FIIs.
Today is the last day of 2024. The mood of enjoyment celebrations can be seen during the day. This may be influencing tomorrow also. Global markets may also be in a celebration mood. So, not much move movement is expected during these two days.
IT segments may give some opportunities at better levels for the coming days during the week. That means this segment may show some more dip. Banks – again doubtful because of debts Vs deposits.
Space, defense, Hotels and related areas may be bit better.
China may be in better shape for the time being. Crude may show some improvements and try to be in the range of 73-76 USD.
